Real Gangsters is an all-star action/drama based on the story of the Lo Giacamo's a modern day crime family who operate out New York City. Starring veteran actor Nick Mancuso and Frank D'Angelo in his first movie role, they are two cousins who head up the family. Although they are bond by blood and have an admiration for each other, one can see that there is tension in the relationship. Nick's role is more of a pragmatic gangster always trying to make the peace whereas D'Angelo's character is the violent psychopath who can flare up and kill just for looking at him the wrong way. The juxtaposition of the relationship is awesome because it makes you think that at any moment one of them is going to kill the other. The movie is slick and the dialogue is real with an orchestra of great supporting actors who make this a must see mob film.
