The second part of this story shows how these characters become adults and how the couple faces to be away from each other. Some events surprised me a little, which made the movie consistent, in my opinion. The story itself gets more dramatic, they're not high school sweethearts anymore, they are now living like adults, with more responsibilities and the daily struggles, and Yano's life gets thougher, as expected. You may start to doubt how it ends, (even when we all know it is predictable, let's face it). I found this second part better, with a less load of music, which lets you appreciate more the good acting and makes the movie seem less corny or melodramatic. Toma Ikuta does it again, I haven't seen very much movies in which I see an actor practically steal the movie, he definitely "has something", very strong screen presence, he is a very good actor, I will look for more of him to watch. A good conclusion to this story, and both movies are a must see if you like romantic stories, recommended by someone who is not very much of a fan of romance or chick flicks, and still enjoyed it very much. I found it somehow refreshing.
